Complete Restoration
God wants us to be exactly like Jesus. tat's why He sent e Holy Spirit. to guide us, to teach us, to guard us. e Holy Spirit, in e amplified bible, is said to be e Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby). He is Someone whom we can totally rely on for help, for counselling, for strength. not our parents, thou they do help most of the times, but there will be times when we are troubled emotionally or mentally whereby it's impossible even for doctors to help us. this is the time when we must trust in His love for us. how?? the answer is the Holy Spirit. He will be our Comforter, our Advocate, our Intercessor.
come to think abt it, all other religions preaches humans to do good n that they will go to heaven if they behave. how do u define good behaviour?? wat's right n wrong?? there r some lines that r just too blur to differentiate with human logic. our minds r not tat great. n even if we do know wat's wrong n right, can we accomplish it?? Buddism talks abt pple having lifetimeS to do tat, taking revelations from one life to another... isn't tat like super tiring?? n it's done all by ourselves... isn't tat like impossible?? cos it's definitely impossible for me... cos i know i just CMI on my own... hehe.
Tat's e reason for e cross. cos we all CMI(cannot make it). cos even e best failed. cos even e one who gave e law had to fade away. but e One who brought grace gave up His life tat we might have HIS eternal life n status n inheritance.
anyone thought abt how great tat inheritance is?? Studies show tat e moment Jesus was born, the total amount of gifts brought to Him was a staggering 400 MILLION DOLLARS. tat's a first time deposit. wat abt instalments?? wat's e FULL value?? i dun think all the gold n silver in e world can even come close to His true value. n we are in Him as much as He is in us. We ARE that precious, whether you realise it or not.
God wants us to be totally restored. we were taken away from Him when e devil tempted Eve n Adam. When Jesus died 2000 yrs ago, He gave us a chance tat we might be reconciled. Now we are, those who believe in Him. n since You've got e best part of Him, His eternal salvation in you, why not take ALL OF HIM?? take e full armor, n be a warrior. a warrior who claims e victory, for it was won 2000 yrs ago, on e mount of Calvary.
