a man who was 'diagnosed' to be 'dying'. a man who was in a ripe old age of 93. a man who 'should have' gone to be with the Lord, as some would say. but believe, n miracles will happen.
gibs went to see vivienne's grand dad on sunday, n he was unconscious, on drips, n in a very bad state. the doctors were comtemplating on putting him on life support. but glory be to God. after praying over him for a while, n taking e Holy Communion, this man was conscious on monday, n today when i went to see him, he was as alive as a man can get. a man, in his 90s(93 to be exact) was having a conversation with us, smiling at us, could write his name, n he even tried to get up to send us off.
God is unbelievably powerful and capable. n His ways r totally mystical. imagine. wat can a small piece of bread n some wine(in our case, it's not even wine, it's ribena!!) do to heal a person?? well, nothing. but just a simple act, of believing n trusting, of leaning on Him, makes all e difference.
when i saw this, i truly really believe e power of the Holy Communion. i think i will take it everyday now. cos now i see it real life, right in front of my eyes. used to not pay so much attention to Holy Communion, as my body always seem to be able to take some knocks n stuff... but seeing this just makes me go - why would anyone not want this?!?! i realised e fullness of power of e Holy Communion, it's not just for us to be healthy, but for us to really have DIVINE HEALTH. n for me to serve in His kingdom in e end times(thanx to gibs for sharing!! i love you brother n shepherd!!), i have to be strong not by my own means, but thru His means. n this is e one sure n certain way. if not, paul n e old church wun have done it everyday. now i truly see n realise...
had a good time of fellowship with gibs after tat at ABC market(heavenly food n heavenly fellowship, perfect combination. muahahaha) he was sharing e fact tat we are in e end times. very very much. n it wun be pastor's or deacon's generation tat will see His works fully extended, but US. OUR generation. when he said tat, my Spirit Man just leapt n jumped. i somehow just know tat wat he said is true!! n it convicts me so much to believe tat i am part of the end time generation, a generation tat will see His signs n wonders following. SO EXCITING!!
(commercial break) so exciting, the audience will clap n cheer. so delighting, it will run for 50 years!! (commercial break ends)
we are living in exciting times. believe it pple, cos i just know this. WE ARE THE ONES. we are the ones who will see revival spread like wildfire in a dry forest. the earth is moaning n groaning, crying out for the Saviour to return. n WE are the ones who will SEE tat. i believe. i truly believe.
gosh, a moment spent with gibs... n so many revelations... time to grab more of these chances. hahahahahaha...
