well, watched star wars yesterday nite wif my choir ppl. e movies comment n revelations will come next. tis is a little more on my personal stuff.
well, anakin's char realli struck me in e face tis time. actually, why did i wait so long before i started blogging abt e movie is particularly becos of tis reason. becos i have been thinking a lot abt tis similarity tat anakin n i shared. we're both given tat choice to make. who do we believe?? do we believe tat 'divine' vision?? n if it's bad, wat can i do to stop it?? anakin chose to NOT give up his padme. would i give up my padme?? if given tat same situation as anakin wif e ppl tat i hold on dear, would i do e same as him?? n wat path will it lead me on?? anakin din give up on his padme, n it scares me to think tat maybe i would not also...(din help tat e actress's name was... .......), n he went to e dark side. will i be e same??
yes, i think a lot. in an amount tat's like quite impossible. tat's e side of me tat i think is rather attractive by e way, cos i just love of all e revelations tat God just drops here n there while i think abt all kind of stupid stuff, from number of planets n size of universe, to namecards n cockroaches.(hey, dun siao siao, these mini things can allow God to give me e greatest of revelations sey. :) )
k, back to anakin n my similarity. e devil sure succeeded in getting me on guilt trip n conscience searching again.
conscience searching is wrong. especially if u r talking abt e same kind of conscience tat i'm referring to. e bible says tat we should have no more sin conscience - no more conscience of whether our actions have any repercussions on our standings wif God, cos THEY DUN. e bible says, our righteousness r as filthy rags. so yeah. our blood is dirty. forget it. it will never be clean. only One Man's blood is clean n powerful enuf to deliver us all. oh gosh, i'm gg ahead myself, next post!! next post!!
anyway... suffice to say tat i kept on telling myself tis - 'u got to give up ur padme!!' 'sacrifice ur isaac!!'
n well, for a few hours, it was realli like works man. i tried to force myself to forget. fell back into e same grey area where God pulled me out of. so funny. it's like someone pulling u out of a quicksand pit, n u jumping right back urself. praise God He already knew i would have done tat. hallelujah. how He knew?? He's God leh. diaong. n i'm sure He knew, cos He came n rescued me. hallelujah.
deacon preached abt tat specifically during YAMs today. n i was so hungry, physically, tat i really wanted to go get food, as wat e music ppl will always do. but for today, e Spirit prompted me to stay. n boy was i glad i fasted. wahahahaha. hallelujah. deacon preached abt how Jesus died alone tat we might have our partners. tat we dun have to worry abt not having them. personally, i'm not worried abt losing 'her'. hey, God gives me EVERYTHING. i think a girl is included in tat EVERYTHING word. heehee. anyway, someone told me recently tat i got to let go n stuff, n tat holding on for her is not wise. well... i was worried abt tat. i was worried tat i was not doing wat God wants me to do, cos tis particular someone is someone very wise. so ya. i looked to pple, looked to laws, but all i can say now is tis. grace grace. hallelujah.
anyway, it dawned on me tis simple but realli powerful truth. anakin had e force. i have THE Lord. e Almighty tat never fails me. n well, most importantly, e force din even like him. it couldn't. my Daddy can, will, n loves me. :) hallelujah.
can't get enuf of His love, can't get enuf of His righteousness in me. can't get enuf... of Him.
