how did Jesus feel when judas betrayed Him?
if you were Him, how would you feel?
most ppl will assume that Jesus hated judas, but read carefully. did He?
was prompted to read John 18 this morning, n thou i din know why in the world i read it in the morning, i knew abt it totally tonight. a night where i can say started off as realli great, but ended a total disaster. tat 5 mins on the car was totally unbearable. the flesh is weak. praise God for His control n mercy.
Jesus did not even mention judas' name in the cirriculum of events. in matthew, we realise tat Jesus called judas 'friend'. in mark and luke, e majesty n kinghood of Jesus was portrayed. yet none was as sweet n as loving as john's description of Jesus' reaction. Jesus did not even REMEMBER judas being His betrayer. Jesus din even condemn judas. ppl may say tat God punished judas, but judas was e one who felt guilty for betraying Jesus, n he hang himself. i believe tat till death, Jesus was still wishing tat judas came back to Him. i seriously believe that. thus is the magnitude of God's love. for e book of john is there to show Jesus as a loving God, n as He is portrayed, so He was in tat garden. He did not remember judas' act unto Him. He did not. why? cos His love for him was great enuf to forgive n forget.
n so in need of His love am i right now. when i felt betrayed. when i felt let down. but man always disappoints. tat's one thing i've learnt. just tat tis time round, e man tat failed is someone whom i love so dearly, tat it hurts like mad. n trust me when i say i seriously did harbour intents to hurt. praise God again for His mercy n HS-induced self control.
n as i was crying n praying n listening... He reminded me again. of why Jesus died. not for perfect men, but for sinners. n none r more holy or more sinful, cos all have sinned. n in this, i take heart, cos it means tat even i was angry, even when i first judged, He still knew tat i judged n angered, n He still forgave. He still smiled on the cross n said 'it was finished'. he still gave me His Spirit tat i might be as He was on earth. a King - a King with the power n majesty n ability to forgive all things tat was done unto him, to feel tat nothing, however big, affects him, cos his status is just too great to be shaken or moved. a Priest - a Priest who is after e order of Melchizedek, who blesses abundantly n never curses. a Priest whose love is boundless n endless. thus is e Jesus i serve. thus is e Jesus in me. thus is anthony, a King Priest.
no longer a prince i am, but now i fully realise, that i am e great I Am. cos to say any least, is an insult to His sacrifice and bequeathal. if there's anything i inherited, it's His Holy Spirit and His peace. n these 2 i have. yes. it's not an amen.
beloveds, i pray tat u have this revelation too. how there's no need to feel disturbed or stressed, no matter wat's the subject matter. even if it's e thing u hold dearest to your heart, be it in e open or in e secret, cos e Lord sees n knows e desires n e 'secret petitions' of your hearts. He knows, He knows. n He only asks of you to delight urself in Him, tat He might fulfill them for you. His heart is so full of ideas n desire to bless you, to make you happy. n all He asks of us? to be happy tat He wants to do so. to smile n acknowledge, tat He's THAT good.
a simple choice of being joyful, an extraordinary God who's so willing to intercede(n intercedED), a totally unfair result.
we r blessed not for wat we deserve, but wat He deserved, for He endured wat we deserved, and gave up wat He deserved.
i once was lost... but now am found. yes, You've found me. n You never let me go.
thus is e Lord i serve.
thus is e Lord tat loves me above all else.
even Himself.

i pray Lord, in Jesus name, that all who are reading this, realise the kingship n priesthood they are in. the power, e reverance of the word 'sacrifice' Father, n wat it means by a divine exchange of status. Lord, give them a revelation of the word righteousness, tat word in which they are now seen in, now known as. Father, keep them in that rainbow mentality, keep them in that heart of peace and joy. Lord, let Your praises never depart from their mouths as they look to Your one done work, the fullness of it, the completeness of it, the wholeness of it. Let this knowledge of them being so in You take hold of their thoughts n actions, in their everyday lives. we thank You Lord for putting this prayer into reality Father, cos of Jesus' robes of righteousness tat's now covering us. In Jesus' powerful n loving name i pray. amen.
n Lord, as Your King n Priest, Father, I confess this peace n joy to reign in My life!! in all areas Father!! n in no area or way should I face lack or fear, for no weapon formed against Me shall prosper, that You are for Me, n no one else can be against Me. no man, no angel, no creature on or of this world, for Your name is higher. Your name is greater. Your name of I Am that now is mine to behold n make My own. I Am, I Am.
