Kiss of Heaven
well, first and foremost, a testimony from me.
today, i made quite a big mistake at work. i closed a deal yesterday and the cheque for my company is supposed to be coming in today. but wat happened was i FORGOT to tell her(my client) that it will be a courier coming down to collect e cheque n not myself, thus resulting in some dis-satisfaction on the client's side. she called me immediately and wanted to take back the agreement and the deal itself was in threat of falling thru. while listening to her talk, all i could do was quietly pray in tongues under my breath and ask God to help me, inspite of my MISTAKE. n grace grace, somehow... i dun know how, but somehow... the lady just began to calm down n started talking to me nicely, and to cut a long story short, i still got my deal n cheque. praise God. n when my boss heard it, he called me into his office. STOP. anthony's thoughts : siao liao... comfirm tio meh(confirm ganna scolding). but guess wat?? he called me into his office, CONGRATULATED me(on e deal n my confirmation as a full time staff as i passed e probation), thanked me for my contribution to the company, and continued to talk to me abt future prospects in regards to me and the company.
Hallelujah, and glory to God.
I'm realli very favored in my current company. VERY VERY. not only does my boss give me special and preferencial treatment, like by giving me leads to follow up on, but he's talking to me abt the advancement plans of the company and abt MY advancement in my company. so favored... :)
kk, testimony over. now is something amusing to share wif u guys. funny thing is this - i woke up today, and somehow this thought came to me - why am i so blessed? why am i more favored compared to some christians?? n then i started going on this 'spiritual' search on wat did i do to deserve e favor. did i pray more? did i read e bible more? issit becos i am more optimistic? more into His goodness and mercy??
stupid huh? haha.
praise God for sean. sean is such a blessing to me. thru msn-ing(yes, it's in office... but i do work ok!! just slacking for a minute or two... okok, 3 or 5 la, cos i have to type tis blog post also. wahahaha), he made me see that it's UNDESERVED favor.
tat's wat grace is. UNDESERVED favor. so simple rite?? i din deserve it, but He still gave me. i din deserve it, but He still loved me. thru e one act of Jesus. and tat's why tis post is called Kiss of Heaven. cos seriously, we can't do anything to 'make' anyone, or in this case, God, kiss us. it's just due to His goodness and willingness to want to LOVE us to the utmost, that even in our stupidity and lack(of watever u r lacking), He still gives and gives and gives, that thru these blessings, we might be led to repentence. that's my God. my loving, almighty, gracious Father in Heaven Who's dying to love me. oh, correction, DIED to love me. :) man, do i love this 'little' kiss.
just an addition to the above testimony and simple revelation, just wanted to add that mark hankins ROX!!! man i loved his message on sunday, and it impacted me so much. love the part abt the tapping n jumping n dancing. man, i pray for e coming of e day when we will see ppl jumping n dancing in the church for His name, as David did!!! i realli wanna!! Lord, is it a confirmation to my request in my previous post?? a sign maybe?? muahahaha. make it so!!
