Campus Revived!!
went to the last campus, n thought... WAT IN THE WORLD HAPPENED?!?!
campus was not the campus i used to know... everything was just so... prim n proper.
n maybe deep down inside, e tigger tat loves trouble still exist. maybe...

nah. not trouble. anthony e trouble maker n problem creator is no longer alive. nowadays, a Jesus-conscious, Holy Spirit filled anthony is walking e earth, DEVIL BEWARE!!!
muahaha.
but this anthony still loves rocking the world. this anthony still loves to jump.
n there's nothing better to jump to, than right there in His presence, before His throne, shouting His praise, as loud as possible, shaking heaven, earth n hell, all 3 at once.
n today, before i went upstage... i had this thought flash by. "this is NOT dare... be more docile..."
n i was like... ok lor...
but then, immediately, something caught me, n this time i somehow just know tat it's God. there was this... this... angst, this... anger so to say(k, not THAT bad as till anger... but u get e pic la). this feeling of "man, David din think tat, oh ya, my wife is around, better act... sane. No leh!!! He was mad for God man!! n I am too wat?!?! wat's wrong with jumping?!?! wat's wrong with being silly!?!?"
n there n then, i knew it. this service IS going to be different.
everyday was still kinda... subdued... cos like... ok lor... not many ppl jumping leh... ehhh... i will look stupid. then it hit me. "David looked stupid to his WIFE." ya hor. heck care. i gave up. He took over. e rest was history.
shiok praise n worship. it's realli e way i want it.
just a quick testimony here.
to say e truth, i was quite sad tat pastor prince wanted more hymns n slowers songs to be introduced. i was seriously disappointed. not that it's not my flow... but seriously, i look at praise n worship of new crea... it just lacks something lor. tat... oomph. n i used to find tat in campus. n then... i left campus... n went into main church... to this realli... anointed but... SLOW music.
dun get me wrong. i love slow music as well. i understand pastor's heart for e ppl for main service as they r of a older generation, e slower songs r more in e flow for them... but campus n DARE as well?!?! why?!?! young ppl r supposed to be... YOUNG PPL!!!
praise is meant to be loud. where got ppl declare something declare to themselves only?? NO RIGHT!!! so ya lor. my mind is simple. if i'm wrong, pls correct me, i'm open to correction. but hear my stand first k??
my idea, or so call understanding, is this. if slower music appeal to e older generation, n tat music is only a tool to get them into e holy of holies... then for e younger generation tat's listening to bands like linkin park, eminem, hoobastank(k, can't seem to spell their names for NUTS. dun understand why. correct rite??), switchfoot, n all e other punk rock music... WUN ROCK MUSIC TOUCH THEM?!?!
but well, i know tat God is bigger than man... so i prayed. tat music like united live, youth alive be brought back to dare n campus ministry. n prayed tat praise will be loud n fast. it's not just tat i love this 'genre' of music, but all along, i feel tat music is a powerful tool to connect ppl together. the nations n countries may speak different language, but everyone knows e difference of sounds btw e war gongs n e gentle flutes. music is an international language. n if e devil is using it to mess up ppls' lives with super trashy songs out there, then let e church use it as a counterattack unto that @(#*!@(%_!)#(!#%!. i'll shout my praises n sing him into e hell of hells(ok la, got holy of holies mah... so put him into e hell of hells lor. :p totally not blibical i know. haha :p). n so yes, since e youths of today feel connected to this kind of music, let's use it to connect with them. i mean, they r e impt ones mah!! rite?? wrong tell me k? :)
n to say e truth... i dun just like tis kinda music ah. i love classical too. i used to come from choir one lor!! dun pray pray ah!! i used to sing amigos pera sempre k!?!?! dun know wat's tat rite?? hehe. it's e world olympics song for year 1992 i think. super nice. n i love phantom of the opera!! i love disney music!! i love musicals!! i love slow ballads, even boybands!! kk... tat's a long long time ago... now maybe not so la... but ya lor. i'm not all jumping n shouting n praising... i have a soft side to me also. *presses his muscles... ya. quite soft. :p
so yeah... i'm so glad tat God has changed it around. for e better i'm sure. DARE services just rock man. n somehow, there's this knowing... tat this year's HM6 is going to be louder, crazier than any of e past 2 i have been to. Lord, put me there!! thank You!!! hehe. n Lord... THANK YOU FOR THE MANIFESTATION OF E SHIOK SHIOK PRAISES!! YAY!!!
